Our Comprehensive Course Options

Gennaro Transport Training in Edmonton offers a comprehensive variety of driver training courses, all of which are taught by our qualified instructors. Our instructors have received official accreditation to teach courses like:

Class 1 MELT, Class 2-S Melt, & Class 3 Courses

Class 1 MELT, Class 2-S Melt, & Class 3 Courses

A Class 1 license will enable you to embark on a career in transport truck driving. Completing a Class 2-S Melt course will train you how to safely operate buses. A Class 3 course will pave the way for you to obtain a Class 3 license, giving you authority to operate heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks, cement mixers, flatbeds, etc.

Alberta Air Brake Course & Exam

Alberta Air Brake Course & Exam

The Alberta Air Brake Program will allow you to learn how to operate vehicles equipped with air brakes. Completion of the course gives you the chance to take the written exam at the Alberta Registry. Once successful, you can then apply the air brake “Q” endorsement to your Alberta Operator’s License, therefore allowing you to operate vehicles with these types of brakes.

Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC)

Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC)

The Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC) will boost driver awareness and truck driver professionalism on the road. Completing this course will also remove three demerits from your driving record that can be applied for up to two years on current or future demerits.
