What Can You Drive With A Class 3 License?
To legally operate a commercial truck, you must obtain a Class 3 License.
Alberta allows individuals with a Class 3 License to drive a wide range of vehicles such as:
- Every vehicle permitted for Class 5 drivers
- A single vehicle equipped with three or more axles
- A vehicle with three or more axles towing a trailer with one or more axles (excluding trailers with Air Brakes)
- Class 1, 2, 4, or 6 vehicles, but only as a student
