1. What type of examination will the air brake knowledge test be?
The air brake knowledge test is made up of 30 multiple choice questions which will be randomly generated from a pool of test questions. In order to pass the air brake knowledge test, you need to get a score of at least 25 out of 30. There’s no time limit on this exam, but the test will end automatically if you answer six questions incorrectly.
Here’s the good news: you can take the air brake knowledge test as many times as you want, but you have to pay a corresponding fee for each attempt.
2. Is there a limit to the number of times I can take the air brake knowledge test?
There is no limit to the number of attempts you can make at a Registry Agent Office. But you can only take one test per day.
3. How long will the air brake endorsement be valid?
Once you have completed the Alberta Air Brake Program, the air brake endorsement will remain valid permanently on your operator’s license.
