Professional Driver Improvement Course: PDIC in Edmonton

The PDIC or Professional Driver Improvement Course is an 8 hour course designed to increase driver awareness and truck driver professionalism while on the road.

Here’s what you will learn:

• Rules and regulations of the Highway Traffic Act
• Safety procedures for passing, backing, turns, merging and stopping at controlled and uncontrolled intersections
• Pre- and post-trip inspections
• Coupling/uncoupling
• Weights and measures
• Winter driving
• How to handle the tourist season
• How to save fuel and prevent collisions

This course will remove 3 demerits from your driving record that can be applied for up to 2 years on current or future demerits.
